Detoxification: Opioid Treatment
Program (Adults Only)
Outpatient Treatment: Opioid Treatment Program (Adults Only)
We strive to provide state-of-the art
treatment for our community that conforms to all Federal, State,
Local regulations and accreditation standards. The primary
founder of LTS, Inc. remembers when, in the early days of
Methadone detoxification and maintenance treatment, there were
few standards, and concern for patient progress was minimal or
nonexistent. Over the years, there has been a definite
change in the overall philosophy of treatment. Now, there
is a strong emphasis on outcomes. In other words, results
count now. Addiction is now recognized as a treatable
medical and psychological condition. Programs must
demonstrate that they are actually making positive changes in
patients' lives. If that is not the case, programs will
not be accredited by CARF, and the Center for Substance
Abuse Treatment (CSAT) will withdraw their certification.
So, accreditation shows that a program is committed to making
positive changes in patients' lives so that they have a better
chance of rejoining mainstream society, obtaining education and
employment, improving familial and social skills, and making
positive contributions to their communities rather than simply
being a drain on scarce resources.
We are proud to be recognized as one of
the programs that fit this new rigid criterion, and we will
continue to improve our service delivery efforts so that we can
be recognized as a model for this evolving treatment paradigm.
